Megyn Kelly slammed CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins, calling her a “cold-hearted bra” who needs to “smile” more often because she’s “boring with no personality.”
The podcaster criticized Collins for defending her network as “fair” and one where “both sides can watch” during her appearance on last week’s episode of HBO’s “Real Time” host Bill Maher.
“I will go on the record, her biggest sin is not that she is biased, although she is. It’s that she’s boring. She’s extremely boring with no personality,” the host of “The Megyn Kelly Show” on SiriusXM said Tuesday.
“I have a professional tip for him: Smile. Try to smile. Try not to be in your birth like such a cold bh all the time because that doesn’t give people anything to relate to.”
Kelly, the former Fox News and NBC anchor, also scoffed at the notion that Collins was a network “star.”
“I’m sorry, but she’s just a star with the left,” Kelly said of Collins, who was handed the anchor chair for “The Source” after being part of CNN’s disastrous morning show with Don Lemon and Poppy Harlow.
Kelly also took issue with Collins’ reference to her Alabama roots during her interview with Maher, in which she said, “I feel like I can speak with authority on that.”
“I’m from Alabama, I’m from a very red state, I have a very conservative family, a lot of them are Trump voters, they watch my show every night and they know they can trust me, that we call the bulls out of every side,” Collins told Maher on Friday.
Kelly dismissed the idea that her Alabama roots made her a “fair and balanced reporter.”
A CNN spokesman declined to comment.
Kelly went on to point out that her YouTube channel, which airs her SiriusXM show, recently hit the milestone of 1 billion views.
Kelly’s YouTube channel also boasts more than 2.3 million subscribers. In July, it had 116.8 million views – more than the official channels for NBC News (78 million), CBS News (83 million), Sky News (87 million), BBC News (72 million) and CNBC (17 million).
“That’s why the alternative media … has done so well, because people are sick of it,” Kelly said, referring to CNN’s bias.
“They can’t stand to be force-fed this nonsense by these mainstream media.”
